Home to more than 80 parishes, the Episcopal Diocese of Central Florida serves one of the most populated regions of the South. Under the spiritual leadership of Bishop John W. Howe, the diocese serves a wide variety of parishes worshiping in traditional, contemporary and multilingual settings. The diocese includes 15 counties, as follows: Brevard, Citrus, Hardee, Highlands, Indian River, Lake, Okeechobee, Orange, Osceola, Marion, Polk, Seminole, St. Lucie, Sumter and Volusia.
The Episcopal Diocese of Southeast Florida includes 83 congregations, with approximately 38,000 parishioners, from Key West north to Jensen Beach and west to Clewiston.
We are a constituent member of the worldwide Anglican Communion and the Episcopal Church in the United States. Our 77 congregations total some 36,000 baptized persons who share an exciting pilgrimage of ministry and mission. On any given Sunday, about 17,000 people worship in Episcopal churches in Southwest Florida.
